The Dream Notes Initiative at the Garden of Dreams Foundation

A graduate of the Boston University School of Law, attorney Marc Rovner oversees the legal and business development departments at BETA Abstract LLC, a large-scale title insurance firm. In addition to his business endeavors, attorney Marc Rovner of East Rockaway, New York, maintains a charitable commitment to a number of nonprofits, including Garden of Dreams.

In 2006, the Garden of Dreams Foundation organized to leverage the platform of Madison Square Garden (MSG), one of the most well-known arenas in the world, to help children and their families live their dreams. The nonprofit partners with 28 other charities in the area, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

One of the unique aspects of the Garden of Dreams Foundation is the Dream Notes initiative, which allows groups and individuals to sponsor a message on the GardenVision screen in MSG. Notes like Happy Birthday or Happy Anniversary display before audiences at sporting events for the New York Knicks, Liberty, and Rangers. Each message raises between $50–100 for the Garden of Dreams.
