Attorney Marc Rovner from East Rockaway, New York, has been selected for excellence in the practice of law by his peers as a Lawyers of Distinction Award Winner in The National Law Journal for 2020. New York Attorney Marc Rovner was recognized for his extensive experience with the legal aspects of title insurance as general counsel and business director for Beta Abstract, LLC. A graduate of Boston University, Marc Rovner received the BU Alumni Award for Pro Bono Assistance in 2012 and from his alma mater for providing his services as an attorney to victims of Hurricane Sandy.

BU’s alumni platform provides former students with the chance to contribute as well as be recognized. One way alumni can give back is through the 1839 Society, a new leadership society for those who generously donate to the alumni association yearly. Donations go directly to fund activities and programs for students and faculty.

Members gain access to free webinars, discounted tickets to top alumni events and graduate gatherings, and the ability to pre-register for BU’s most popular events. They also can be featured in the school’s multiple media outlets which Marc Rovner has been many times..
